This blog came about for two reasons: becoming unexpectedly single and needing a distraction, and the fact that I am a final year medical student and have Finals exam looming, (where I need to get 4 years worth of medical knowledge into my head in order to become a doctor) and thus very much needing a distraction.
Basically: Something Nice To Take My Mind Off The Other Crap In My Life Right Now.
For those who know me in real life, I am somewhat of a fancy dress fiend. Simply put: I LOVE IT. I cannot get enough of it. Hallowe'en is genuinely more enjoyable for me than Christmas. It IS my Christmas. The last two years I have had 3 different costumes. And so when it came to casting around ideas for a blog, this was the obvious choice.
So; Blog posts detailing the various costumes I've had over the (20ish) years, when I wore them, how I created them, photos to show them off.
I may well throw in the odd post about life in general, on medicine, how finals is affecting me/driving me crazy, and maybe even the odd thought/rant on feminism (something I'm still learning about, but which I'm pretty passionate).
